Nestled in a rural setting, the lodge offers convenient access to various attractions within a short drive; discover charming Greystoke village (4 miles) where you can relish a meal at a local pub or explore the historic St Andrews Church, dating back to 1255. For one of the Lake District s most popular towns, head to Keswick (14 miles) where you ll find local shops, restaurants, and pubs, as well the starting points for many of the region s best walking trails. On entering this welcoming holiday lodge, you're greeted by a large entrance hall, with plenty of space for shoes, coats and soggy dogs to get dried off. To the left is the social heart of the property, the open plan lounge, kitchen, and diner. You ll immediately notice how light and bright the rooms are thanks to the floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, which allow you to be at one with nature from the comfort of the lodge.The well equipped large corner kitchen has all you need to whip up a memorable group meal, which can be enjoyed at the nearby dining table with space for six and garden views. To unwind after dinner, follow the warmth of the wood burner and settle into the sumptuous sofas that await in front of the Smart TV the perfect setting for a family movie night. When eyes start to close, find the three charming bedrooms two stylish double rooms and a cosy twin bedroom. Completing the lodge is a well appointed family bathroom with shower over bath. Outside, while there is no private garden space, you ll find plenty of shared greenery and woodland to explore as a group, or with the dog on a quiet morning walk. The complex is set back off a quiet road in a peaceful location, but with easy access to the A66 and M6. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 doubles and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with bath with shower over and WC. Electric oven and hob with extractor over, fridge/freezer, and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Wood burner (first basket of logs provided). Smart TV with Freeview, DVD player and Playstation 4. Private parking for 2 cars. Pub and shop 3 miles.
