Impressive accommodation awaits with open-plan living, quality furnishings and a natural light-filled space in this two-bedroom, first-floor apartment. Situated in St Issey, a quaint little village just 3 miles from Padstow, this lovely abode provides an exceptional base for four guests to spend time exploring the Trevose Heritage Coast and wide Cornish countryside. The property, which is also dog friendly, sits amongst a larger development of other similar properties, complete with shared outdoor patio spaces for making the most of that fresh sea air when the sun shines.
Receive a warm welcome as you venture up the stairs and into the open-plan living area on the first floor. This apartment is entirely laid out on one storey, so enjoy having everything at your fingertips from here. With a lounge, kitchen and diner, this central sociable space has everything you need for lazy mornings and restful nights. Let your family’s chef do their thing in the kitchen, preparing dinner either at the dining table or at the picnic table directly outside the property. Find three Smart TVs and a Sonos sound system throughout the property for filling your evenings with entertainment. You can come together to watch a film or box set in the lounge, or you can retire to bed and find both bedrooms equipped with TVs for late-night lounging.
Discover plenty of local attractions just a short drive away, including the Camel Creek Family Theme Park (2 miles), The Tide Climbing Centre (2.5 miles), the championship Trevose Golf Club (5.5 miles) and a handful of beautiful beaches (all within 7 miles). For day trips a little further away, both Newquay (15 miles) and Bodmin (12 miles) can be reached with a short trip in the car. You can also venture a little further to discover the Eden Project (19.5 miles), a family-friendly attraction that’s well worth the extra drive.

Would recommend this to anyone had a lovely stay and a lovely family stay with dog friendly service too.

This was a lovely place to stay and relax and not far from anywhere costal. We spent a lot of time at Mawgan Porth which was lovely and only 15mins drive away. The kitchen was basic for those who want to cook for themselves with a need for some more utensils and upgrades. The other amenities such as washing machine, iron, hoover etc. are really good and the WiFi is excellent. For dog owners, there are no dog friendly provisions so bring your own bowls. Although there are bins onsite, the owners bizarrely don’t want you putting you dog poo in them rather walk a fair way to local bins near the church and offsite which isn’t particularly pet friendly.

This is a nice apartment. Somewhat basic as far as furnishings and fittings go, but perfectly adequate. A few items were of poor quality (like the hangers in the wardrobe and the cutlery) but these were not deal-breakers. The underfloor heating kept the apartment nice and toasty after it had had time to heat the place up but it would have been better if it had been switched on already in anticipation of our arrival (we had to hunt for the on-switch in the cupboard at the top of the stairs next to the boiler and turn it on ourselves). The kitchen area has lots of worktop space and many cupboards for storage. There is a gas hob which is unusual in a holiday let, but quite welcome. Most of the plates, pots, pans, cutlery and utensils that you need are provided so that's good. Some tea, coffee and sugar sachets were also provided, which was a good touch, though there was no milk, bread, or other welcome pack, which would have been even better. There is adequate parking behind the building and the location is a great base for trips to Padstow and Wadebridge (close by), and New Quay and St. Austell (a bit further away). The Eden Project is a mere 30-minute drive away. There is a bit of a view from the living room out over the countryside, but there is nothing particularly interesting to see, so it's not a massive USP (Unique Selling Point). All in all, a nice, pleasant, perfectly adequate self-catering apartment to use as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside and good value for money.
