Dewi Villa is a spacious and well-equipped property, appreciated for its comfortable rooms, secure garden for pets, and proximity to the beach. Guests enjoyed the property's layout, ideal for large groups and multi-generational stays, with en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom. The scenic views and local walks were also highlights.
Most guests found the property clean, particularly the bathrooms and kitchen. However, some noted areas with dust, dog hair, and cobwebs, suggesting room for improvement in the thoroughness of cleaning.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and local walks, with beautiful views and a secure garden for pets. Some guests noted noise from the nearby road, but this did not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback on location.
Guests found the beds and pillows comfortable, and the heating effective. Some issues with a flickering light and a cold room were mentioned, but overall, the property provided a comfortable stay.
The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and offers ample parking. Some guests encountered maintenance issues like a non-sealing freezer door and creaky floorboards. The steep driveway was challenging for some, and improvements in lighting and heating instructions were suggested.
While guests appreciated the Christmas decorations, as there is no consistent mention of thoughtful gestures or gifts across the reviews, it is not possible to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.
Just a 2 minute walk from Aberarth beach and the 870-mile-long Wales Coast Path, this three storey Georgian villa makes a great holiday base. There is accommodation for 8 guests in 4 bedrooms.
Aberarth beach is a great place to watch the sunset over the sea, or you can take the lovely mile long walk along the coast path to the seaside town of Aberaeron. Aberaeron is a Georgian- planned town and has a colourful array of brightly painted houses and pretty harbour, as well as a great range of eateries, friendly pubs and individual shops and galleries.
The university town of Aberystwyth is nearby and there is also New Quay which is well known for dolphin spotting, Borth, Tresaith, Cardigan and Llangrannog to explore.
A pretty Georgian coastal town located between Cardigan and Aberystwyth with a lovely pebble beach and beautiful sea views. There is an abundance of shops with unusual gifts, great eating places and pubs, and a quiet little harbour to enjoy watching the boats come and go. Aberaeron is perfectly positioned to enjoy boat trips and watersports, or coastal and countryside walks and cycle rides. Short drives to Cardigan to the south, or Aberystwyth to the north offer more shops, craft centres, museums and cinema or theatre visits. A wonderful Mid Wales location all year round.

It does need a good cleanâ¦. Cobwebs, skirting boards just once a month would do the trick! Also a few more mugs and glasses!! Overall a 8/10 for sure - would stay again
