About this property

A truly stunning farmhouse which keeps hold of its traditional exterior, whilst merging with a modern interior, mixing the best of both worlds. Being located a stone’s throw from St Ives town centre and the famous coastline, this home is perfect for friends or family looking for a quirky coastal getaway. Stepping inside of the property, you will discover a living area with a large TV, opposite a dining room with a large woodburning stove and another TV to make the atmosphere homely. You can cook up a storm in the well-furnished modern kitchen, and if the sun is still shining, relocate to the garden and enjoy an alfresco meal in the outside dining area. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms that are all equipped with TVs, and the master bedroom holds a super king-size bed with a look-out window that has loungers gazing out to the picturesque coastline of St Ives. In addition to the alfresco dining area, in the spacious enclosed garden you can use multiple seating spots, plus you will discover a designated sunbathing spot that acts as a sun trap perfect for feeling the sun on your skin. A shower room can also be found outside, perfect for wondering straight off the sandy beach and rinsing yourself down. The harbour and four world-class beaches are within a short stroll, including the lush, golden stretch of Porthmeor Beach, St Ives’ most premier beach. Popular with surfers and water sports enthusiasts alike due to the south-westerly gales it enjoys, this beautiful, Blue Flag destination has lifeguards on duty from Easter to October, is flanked by two, rugged headlands, and boasts magnificent, awe-inspiring views that gaze out upon the brilliant blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Amongst the busy town's narrow cobbled streets are also shops, art galleries, numerous inns, cafés and restaurants for you to visit. Going further afield, the St Ives coast road, voted Britain's most scenic stretch of coastline, will transport you to the surfing dream of Sennen, legendary Land's End and The Minack Theatre, an open-air theatre constructed into a cliff face. A traditional farmhouse mixed with a modern interior that overlooks the iconic St Ives with easy access to the many beaches, shops and galleries. Return to your delightful coastal cottage for a relaxing evening with your loved ones in front of the fire.

Didn't stop us going numerous times though both to beaches and to the centre of St Ives without needing to drive. Lovely garden and barbeque which gets the sun at various points in the day. The outdoor shower and toilet was very useful and still connected to the house across a very small covered outdoor part so not as outside as we'd feared. Plenty of kitchen things provided and all rooms very clean plus TVs everywhere if the weather doesn't provide. Main bedroom looking out over At Ives from rocking chairs was truly lovely.

) There is a useful, local little shop opposite the farmhouse that stocked everything. The accommodation is spacious, clean, comfortable and of a high standard and the garden is a lovely retreat at the end of a beach day and a great place for children to play. The views from the master bedroom are stunning. Liz, the owner, was super helpful and welcoming when we arrived. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Perfect family getaway for all, including our dog. Short walk to the best surf beach, coast path and St Ives. Many thanks.
