You’re also right on the edge of the Cotswolds, so countryside rambles, rolling hills and postcard-worthy villages are very much part of the deal.

This historic market town is set entirely within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding chocolate box Cotswold towns and villages, including Tetbury and Badminton, with their Royal connections. There are also many National Trust properties within easy reach. Enjoy the many walks and cycle trails from the town, including the Cotswold Way which passes through the centre. Wotton-under-Edge boasts many individual shops, cafes and restaurants, together with historic buildings, an open air swimming pool, a digital cinema, museum, a beautiful 13th century inn and an Iron Age fort dating back to 940 AD. There is something here for everyone in this unspoilt part of the Cotswolds.
