In an elevated position and approached by a number of steps, you are surrounded by two acres of lovely terraced gardens, with an abundance of flowers and fishponds. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind in the most tranquil of locations enjoying the company of an array of wildlife. Many beautiful country and coastal walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep, or a short drive takes you to the outstanding Exmoor National Park, Berrynarbor with Ye Old Globe pub, post office and friendly local store is just three quarters of a mile down the lane. Ideally suited to individual couples, or for those who may wish to holiday together. Once visited this unforgettable location will entice you back time and time again. This cottage is semi detached and one of two similar properties. Elevated on the side of a valley with spectacular views and reached via a large number of steps, bringing guests to the cottage s front door, which opens onto the open plan living space. At one end of this lounge/kitchen/diner, guests will find a comfortable sofa, wood burner effect electric fire, TV/DVD, a great place to unwind at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The kitchen area, to the opposite end of the room, with an oven with ceramic hob, microwave, larder fridge and freezer. Stairs lead to the first floor, where guests will find the restful double bedroom. The roomy shower cubicle with WC, is also located on the first floor. Outside is a private decked area, with breath taking countryside views, providing a lovely space for guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Additionally, guests also have access to the two acres of shared gardens, with lawns, flowered borders and pretty fishponds. A fenced, gated paddock that leads down to the river is handy for dog walking. Off road parking is provided in a private car park, just across from the property. Please note this a non smoking site and not permitted within the grounds. Need to know: The cottage is accessed via a large number of external steps and therefore unsuitable for people with mobility issues. 1 double bedroom. Roomy shower room with WC. Kitchen: oven with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment. Small enclosed patio. Use of gardens with seating. Welcome basket on arrival. Private off road parking space.
