The cottage has been extended to create additional accommodation, which includes a well-equipped, open-plan living space with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area overlooking Ashwell Springs, a pleasant setting to unwind in. There are two bedrooms, including a double room on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom, plus a second double upstairs. From the dining area, patio doors open into the beautiful garden, perfect for alfresco dining, the summerhouse provides a relaxing outdoor spot, for you to enjoy the evening in comfort, as you watch the sun set. A short walk takes you into the centre of Ashwell, which is dominated by its 14th-century church and has all the daily necessities you may need, plus a number of beautiful, historic buildings and the mainline railway station to London and Cambridge, right on the doorstep. There are plenty of beautiful walks and cycle ways in and around the village to enjoy and after a day spent exploring the marvellous local area, as well as a choice of three pubs. The village of Ashwell is surrounded by fields, providing wonderful walking and bike riding opportunities and you also have many towns and villages in the area, Bedford having one of the finest riverside settings in the country. This splendid little holiday home is perfect for friends and families, all-year-round.

The Anglo-Saxon village is dominated by 14th-century church and houses a number of independent shops and three public houses, as well as a butchers, a bakers and a chemist.
