I honestly don't know where to begin. No amount of words can express how wonderful our stay was and how grateful we were. The views surrounding the farm were idyllic and the farm itself was gorgeous, giving us experiences of hares and chickens, plus the soothing sound of sheep baaing deep into the night (though this could not be heard once inside the cottage!)The cottage was ideal for my needs as a full time electric wheelchair user, with an open plan living room and kitchen which was easy to navigate in my chair, an electric recliner chair perfect to soothe my back, and wheel under kitchen appliances which is a luxury I don't even have in my own home! The wet room bathroom was spacious, with a wheel under sink, grab rails by the toilet and a wheel in shower complete with a shower chair. This was a huge relief as often there is just a haphazard seat attached to a wall which doesn't enable me to shower with ease. The twin bedroom was so comfortable, with one bed being an electric mechanical one to enable me to get in and out of it more easily and to elevate my legs when needed. The owners even went to the trouble of providing a bed guard upon request which aided my ability to roll over without fear of falling. That truly is above and beyond in terms of accessibility.I cannot express how perfect the balance was between having a cottage full of rustic countryside charm, but with all of the modern amenities I need as a wheelchair user (plus excellent Wifi and a smart TV!). It meant so much to come back to a cosy home each day and not have to worry about my needs being accommodated, which I also know was a huge benefit to my dad who looked after me. We didn't have to think or plan anything and could fully embrace being a dad and daughter on holiday which meant the world, as quite often it's a case of being a patient and carer. It is abundantly clear how much care and effort Nic and Lindsey (and the rest of their family) put into making holidays on the farm a beautiful and accessible experience. They are always asking for feedback and looking to improve further, and are incredibly open, giving recommendations and telling us about the farm. We were treated like family and welcomed with open arms.We will definitely be back. You can't put a price on a truly relaxing break where you can forget your troubles for a while. It truly felt like a second home, and for that we will always be grateful. Thank you, Lindsey, Nic and Family
