There is an entrance porch which is handy for walking gear, and the living room has a gas fire, three piece suite and a parquet floor. This traditional terraced cottage is a perfect base from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Great location for the cottage. Sun Inn food good and walking distance. Toaster replaced very efficiently when it broke. Great week

We had a lovely time in Howarth cottage. Everything you could need is there. The key safe at the front could do with a replacement as it was very difficult to open and close.The mattress of the double bed might need replacing in the coming year or so. Think a very heavy person sat on the side.
