Downstairs is all about cosy cottage charm and easy living. The sitting room is a warm and inviting space, complete with a traditional open fireplace, perfect for curling up after a day exploring the coast. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, and there is also a dining area for relaxed breakfasts or long, lazy suppers, plus a handy shower room with a shower.
Upstairs, via a set of characterful Norfolk winder stairs (steep, narrow, and curved—with a handrail on one side) leads you to two charming bedrooms. The master bedroom is a pretty retreat with a king-size bed, while the twin room offers two full-size single beds and delightful views over the churchyard - perfect for slow mornings. The stairs are part of the cottage’s historic charm, but they are steep and narrow at the top and there’s no stairgate, so a little care (and a sense of adventure!) is recommended.
A quaint cottage garden with outside furniture can be accessed at the front of the property. Access to the rear is over a shared pathway.

This was our second stay at Gravel Hill. It is a very comfortable cottage with everything we need. It is in an excellent position for lots of different walks and within easy reach of some lovely places to visit.
