Get away from it all in this charming rural hideaway, with peaceful country and coastal walks in unspoiled West Norfolk on the doorstep. The pretty period cottage is one of two at the end of a no-through road in the little village of Ingoldisthorpe. Sleeping four adult guests, plus one child, it is ideal for a family or friends sharing, and a perfect spot for lovers of wildlife, with an RSPB Nature Reserve just 3 miles away on the shingle beach at Snettisham. Seaside Hunstanton, the long-distance Peddars Way footpath, and beautiful Norfolk Lavender fields are all within a short distance.

From the front door, enter a country-style, white kitchen, kitted to meet all your catering needs. Leading off is the bright dining room with an elegant round table and patio doors to the garden. Cosy up on comfortable sofas in the lounge, with a flame-effect electric fire and delightful decorative extras, including a dresser and overmantel. Upstairs, there is a bathroom and two pretty double bedrooms, one with an additional single day bed. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and a spacious, shared grass area opposite where children and dogs can play.

Keen walkers and cyclists can follow the Peddars Way towards the sea and the Norfolk Coast Path. For sand between your toes and a fish and chip supper at sunset, head for the glorious beach in Hunstanton (5 miles), home of the Sea Life Centre, housing amazing marine creature from piranhas to seals. Smell the fragrant air across the 100-acre fields of Norfolk Lavender in Heacham (3 miles), with distillery tours and more. The royal country retreat at Sandringham (3.5 miles) has a rich history and is set in beautiful gardens.
