The path weaves itself through tidal creeks and salt marshes, shingle, luscious fields and enormous sandy beaches – and as Norfolk is a haven for wildlife and birds, you’ll have plenty to admire throughout!

And dotted along the horizon at all times are yachts and power-boats, while nearer to shore you’ll find surfers, kayakers, kite-surfers and so much more! A young, family-run high-quality recognised watersports centre operating in the tidal wildlife haven of Blakeney Harbour. Professional and approachable coaching is provided with safe, enjoyable & unique sailing and powerboating experiences and qualifications offered.

Seal at Blakeney Point

Take a short boat ride to the stunning sandbanks at the far end of Blakeney Point where there is a colony Common and Grey seals. Departure times are totally dependant upon the tides so it is worth checking with the various operators. During peak season booking is essential. Great fun for kids.

Sheringham Golf Club, Sheringham

The Club was formed in 1891 as a nine hole course, which was extended in 1898 to a full eighteen holes. The course is laid out on a strip of rolling, gorse-clad clifftop that lies between the preserved North Norfolk Railway and the North Sea. Noted for its long par 4 holes it is a severe test of players' ability, especially when the wind blows. The view from the 5th tee is one of the most memorable in golf. NOTE: A Handicap Certiciate is required.

The Links Country Park Golf Club, West Runton

A superb 9 hole (par 33) golf course. The original course was designed by JH Taylor and was opened by him around the turn of the century. The course combines tight hilly fairways with tricky greens, providing a challenge for the most able players and beginners alike. Overlooking the village and with magnificent coastal views make the course one of the most picturesque in the region. Golf equipment is available from the golf shop and where the resident Professional can be found and who is very willing to offer help, advice and tips.
