The seaside resort of Great Yarmouth offers traditional seaside fun, plenty of amusement arcades, Wax works, Sea Life Centre, a leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool, pitch and putt, a pier with a fun fair suited to younger children, and another fun fair for any adrenaline seekers. Within the village of Blofield is a golf course with a clubhouse, driving range, and pirate pitch & putt. Within a 2-minute’ drive is an award-winning Indian restaurant, shop and a farm shop selling local produce.
The area is very popular with local road cycle clubs that welcome riders of all abilities, a great way to explore your local surroundings. Brundall, is 6 minutes drive, with a train station, two pubs, restaurants, boat hire, supermarket, and butchers. Why not leave the car behind and travel by train visiting the seaside resorts of Great Yarmouth, Cromer and Sheringham each having an array of seaside activities to enjoy or the Fine City of Norwich for excellent shopping opportunities, two indoor shopping malls, market square, theatre, a castle museum, a cathedral and an array of eateries.

The beds were large & very comfortable, as were the bathrooms.There were no notes left about which bins to use or sorting of recycling so everything seems to go in together. There is no live TV, so we found it frustrating having to stream anything we wanted to see. An enjoyable stay otherwise.

This is a beautiful home, spacious and a very quiet location. Plenty of room in all three bedrooms, storage for clothes and soft furnishings were of a good quality Both bathrooms excellent. Kitchen is well equipped and direct access to the secure garden space too. Lounge and dining area is again spacious, however two tub chairs are not the most comfortable and if there was 6 adults there is not sufficient comfortable seating, as there is just a large sofa along with the two tub chairs. Table is large enough for everyone to sit at comfortable chairs and there is a child’s highchair available. You would need a car, but 5 minutes away is a train station at Brundall, which is an excellent and very cheap way to go to the coast Cromer, Sheringham and Great Yarmouth or into Norwich. I have never stayed somewhere without a ‘house guide’, but it’s not the end of the world. 2 negatives we couldn’t find vacuum charger, so could only sweep the floors and there was no mop. The garden needs some attention as the paths are overgrown. Garden patio furniture is tired too. If you’re looking for place to eat would highly recommend Kings Head Blofield and Indian restaurant and Take Away: Taramind Fine Indian dining.

We had a lovely stay at Blofield cottage,very spacious and comfortable.Just a couple of small niggles,although advertised on all the sites there was no bbq,also no parasol or seat cushions for outside dining,the weather was very warm on our stay and a little cover from the sun would of been welcome.Apart from that we had a wonderful stay,perfect weather and perfect location to visit lots of surrounding places.
