Guests say

The Coach House in Cumbria is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its beautiful location, comfort, and the helpfulness of the owners. Guests have enjoyed the peaceful setting, the proximity to local attractions, and the cosy atmosphere of the cottage. While there are some minor maintenance issues mentioned, the overall experience is positive with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Most guests found The Coach House to be thoroughly clean upon arrival. There was a single mention of an issue with the ensuite drains, but this seems to be an isolated incident rather than a common concern.

The property is consistently lauded for its ideal location, offering a tranquil setting and convenient access to local pubs, walking areas, and the Lake District. The scenic views and peaceful environment contribute to its high rating.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with a particularly inviting bedroom. However, there were a few comments about a hard bed and some quirky features like curved walls and cramped spaces that might not suit everyone's taste.

The Coach House is well-equipped according to guests, with a special mention of the outdoor area. Some maintenance issues were noted, such as a problematic front door lock and a boiler breakdown, which suggests room for improvement.

The owners are frequently mentioned for their thoughtfulness, including welcoming guests with wine and providing local information. While such gestures are appreciated, it is politely noted that these are personal touches and may not be guaranteed for every stay.
