Journey 3 miles west to explore the Forest of Bowland National Landscape, where you can climb to the summit of Pendle Hill, follow the Pendle Sculpture Trail, or take a waterside stroll at the Black Moss Reservoirs. You’ll also be within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and iconic beauty spots such as Malham Cove (18 miles) and Bolton Abbey (23 miles).

Inside, you’ll find a country-style kitchen/diner with a beamed ceiling, whitewashed stone walls, and deep-set windows. Whip up tasty dinners here, using fresh produce from your travels, and gather around the farmhouse table for mealtimes to remember. After dinner, head through to the cosy lounge, which again boasts fabulous exposed beams and a charming stone fireplace housing a coal-effect gas fire. Unwind here, after a long country walk, reading a book or catching up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV.
