Surrounded by a spectacular rural landscape but not completely remote from its neighbours, Claytons Cottage offers a blissful escape from light and noise pollution. On the ground floor the cottage has a large sitting room with impressive fireplace and spacious family kitchen as well as a cloakroom and boot room leading to the rear patio.With two en-suite bedrooms, one twin and one double with king-size bed, the cottage accommodates four guests with ease.
Lower Oddington is one of the most sought after villages in the Cotswolds, with a selection of gourmet pubs within five miles. The cottage is well located for accessing local walking routes and it’s just a half mile easy walk across the fields to Daylesford Organic where guests can indulge in some tasty holiday treats.

An exceptional holiday cottage, with absolutely everything we needed. Lovely walks straight from the door, including around the Daylesford estate. The peace and quiet is delightful, and the sense of space around the cottage was very relaxing. The Horse and Groom in Upper Oddington is wonderfully friendly, and has good food. The Fox in Lower Oddington is both unfriendly and very expensive.

Beautiful location, very peaceful and quiet. Lovely walks straight from the cottage and good eating places nearby. We and our dog had a great time!

Clayton’s cottage was in a perfect location. Wonderfully secluded yet close to so many great pubs and walks. The house was spacious and light and airy downstairs. Clean and a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were better in reality than the pictures. The showers were difficult to use; controlling the temperature by moving the handle was so stiff in both showers. The water pressure was intermittent too. We would definitely stay here again though it’s a very easy property to relax in.
