Guests say

Honeysuckle Cottage in St. Agnes, Cornwall, is highly praised for its prime location near the beach and village, with guests appreciating its cleanliness, comfort, and the thoughtful welcome pack. While some minor issues with facilities and maintenance are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests eager to return.

The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews noting it as clean and comfortable. However, a few guests mentioned areas that could have been cleaner, such as under the sofa and a damp smell in the wardrobes, slightly lowering the score.

The location is consistently lauded as perfect, with the cottage being a short walk from the beach, pub, and village centre. The private garden area is an added bonus, contributing to the high score.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with special mentions of the bed linen and the warmth of the cottage during cold weather. The only detractor is a comment about soft pillows affecting comfort.

While the cottage is well-equipped and guests are generally satisfied, there are suggestions for additional items such as a cafetière, larger frying pan, and more robust clothes drying rack. The lack of a tumble dryer was a concern for one guest.

The welcome pack with tea, coffee, biscuits, and milk is frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Only very minor point of frustration was the lack of larger pans. It was very difficult to cook for a family of four as the pans were all so small (although very good quality) so we had to use multiple pans each time we cooked.

We absolutely loved our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and exceptionally well quipped. On arrival, there was a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk which was a lovely touch. The location of this beautiful cottage is perfect. A few minutes walk from stunning Trevaunance Cove and several fabulous pubs, cafes and restaurants. We could not fault it on any level! We enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage so much that the first thing we did upon our return home, was to book again for next year. Thank you so much, we can't wait to return in 2025!

We had everything we needed and, with a super pub a short walk away, couldn't complain! Having not really been to Cornwall before, it was an ideal base from which to explore this delightful county.
