Our Second stay at Cider Cottage So comfortable,Clean and everything you did not remember to bring has been provided , lovely welcome scones with fresh cream and jam , milk tea and Coffee , looovly ! If you want to get away from everything this is the place to be , beautiful scenery surrounds you ! We were lucky enough to see deer yards from the accommodation. I would say though not suited for disabled, and has high step in and into accommodation if you are frail.

Very lovely host- generous enough with her time to have regular conversations with us which we enjoyed greatly and she even drive us to a local tyre shop when a tyre on my car deflated during the night. Whole heartedly recommend the stay and looking forward to hopefully staying there again.

An absolutely gorgeous week at Cider Cottage - exactly as it says on the tin - a quaint cottage in the middle of nowhere. Mrs Kirby & Co. were great, home is perfectly equipped, nice and warm, a lovely bath. The bedding was of good quality, as was the towels provided. We were welcomed with scones, jam and clotted cream and two pints of milk in the fridge which were very welcome after the 4 hour journey we had from Leicestershire. Unfortunately the weather wasnt on our side, but we would definitely return in summer!
