We've stayed in a lot of similar small cottages for a couple, and this is the best of all of them, in terms of size, comfort, facilities and cleanliness. The off-road parking is excellent for Devon, and the kitchen is great, with room for a full range cooker, as well as dishwasher and washing machine, all of them top brands. Same in the bathroom, with large bath and separate shower, & even a TV on the wall in there. The location worked for us too, central between hiking locations in Dartmoor and Exmoor. Be prepared to be cosy & warm in Autumn / Winter: the heating (included in the cost) runs 24/7 ... which was a bit much for one of us but perfect for the other!

We had a lovely stay at Honeysuckle cottage. The propery is incredibly well equipped, and surprisingly spacious! It was perfect for 2 + toddler and dog. Location is very quiet, with a lovely walk through a community wood just a couple of mins away, and pub and community shop also close by, but otherwise you will need to drive to get to bigger shops or to beaches/attractions.
