Head down to the first floor to find your open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge, where doors on to a Juliet balcony can be thrown open to bring in a summer breeze. Prepare holiday feasts in here, dine at the table together or unwind in front of the TV or a DVD. The ground floor is where the master bedroom, with its comfortable seating space, TV, dressing area and en-suite shower room, can be found. From here, step out on to the patio to take in the seaside air. The garden, also accessed from the ground floor, is the perfect place to sit on warm evenings, with a glass of wine.

Spend sunny days on the beach at Westward Ho! and if the weather turns, visit the North Devon Maritime Museum which showcases the shipbuilding and seafaring history of the area. When the weather is fine, hike through the Northam Burrows Country Park, approximately 0.5 miles away.
