A riverside terrace is shared with the owners and provides an idyllic riverside spot for sitting out with drinks as the sun goes down, or for enjoying a spot of fishing. A large shared garden boasts a children’s play area, but please take care in supervising them, as there is an unfenced pond in the garden too.
A leisurely 1-mile stroll from Yeoldon Stables brings guests to the centre of Bideford, a historic harbour town with a vibrant community and a good selection of places to eat. From here, the seaside village of Instow is just 2 miles away, as is the sweeping sandy beach at Westward Ho! For a truly special day trip, head to the town’s harbour and join a boat trip to the tranquil island of Lundy, home to a vast array of seabirds and wildlife.
