This is the second time we have stayed at Higher Rowe's farm and we loved it just as much as the first time. The views from the back are beautiful. A very well equipped house, plenty big enough for 5 adults and a dog. We loved the welcome pack on arrival and complimentary logs and coal for the fire. The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Situated a mile or two from Mary Tavey it is out in the middle of nowhere, which is why we chose it. Tavistock is the local town, only a few miles away. There are several pubs a few minutes drive away which is ideal if you don't want to travel far for a meal out. There are several walks around from the door and the whole of Dartmoor to explore. We will definitely book it again. It felt like we were coming home each time we walked in the door.
