    Glenda – 9 Dec 2019
"Clean and very well equipped cottage, adjacent to a pub which served food ( not tasted) and had an open mic evening which was enjoyable. All that is needed for a short break was at the cottage and a welcome pack a nice gesture. Our only negative was the storage heaters downstairs making the kitchen and particularly the lounge very cold and draughty, we could not get the open fire to ‘work’ effectively which was a pity. The upstairs bedroom was in contrast too warm but preferable to cold! Very near to Halesworth and by car easily accessible to Southwold and plenty of walks nearby. We always visit the Crown at Westleton when we visit Suffolk and we’re not disappointed this break away again! Overall a pleasant stay, nice little garden with plenty of bird life and very quiet."

"We would recommend Wren Cottage for a quiet relaxing break in a lovely location. It is a simple, quite basic but cosy country cottage with no frills but all essentials. An ideal base for exploring the coast and countryside of NE Suffolk. However some items in the kitchen could do with updating. In the living room the range of books to read and the local information and maps were excellent but the sofa is tiny and the TV barely adequate. It was nice to relax in the front garden with a cup of tea after a day out walking."

"A cosy cottage in a quiet location. Handy for pub. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. A couple of things let it down. Very small tv (22”) and uncomfortable seats in lounge."
    Steve – 10 Jun 2019
"We had a nice stay at Wren Cottage - the location was perfect for exploring the Suffolk countryside and only a ten minute cycle ride to Halesworth. The pub just a few doors away is well worth a visit. The front garden is lovely to sit in and enjoy birdsong and sunshine and there was a huge selection of books to read from the many bookshelves - All in all a relaxing time."
    Catherine – 29 Mar 2019
"Lovely little cottage within easy reach of great places to visit. Warm and cosy.Just right for 2 people who don't expect a cottage that is "all singing and dancing".Would definitely recommend."
    Sarah – 28 Feb 2019
"Perfectly located for exploring the local area. Furniture a little old fashioned but very clean and functional. Comfy bed with very crisp and clean linen. We'd stay again definitely. The pub next door is under new management and there were a few teething issues with the food and service, but we couldn't fault the warm welcome that we received. Would recommend eating at The Boarding House in Halesworth (five minutes by car or taxi). Exceptional food at very reasonable prices x"

"A lovely peaceful and comfortable cottage just a short drive from shops, cafes, restaurants and a host of historic buildings and delightful countryside. We loved the vast library of books to fill our restful times."
