Hope boasts two pubs, and close by in Bishop's Castle is the oldest licensed brewery in the UK. The village of Minsterley is just 2.5 miles away offering many amenities including a small Co-op, petrol station, Post Office and a butcher. Nearby Shrewsbury, one of England’s finest heritage towns with over 600 listed buildings nestles on a loop of the River Severn.
