This group of single-storey lodges is situated on the North Star Sanctum site adjacent to the owner’s home in the village of Fitling, just a short drive from the east coast and with far reaching views across the stunning East Riding countryside.
The Lotus, designed by the owners, is a Balinese themed property providing a light and airy interior with high quality furnishings and the décor is in keeping with the theme. The little touches from the mango wood furniture, brass splash backs, Buddha brass handles, polished River Rock sink and bamboo floor really provide a WOW factor. The cosy open-plan living area has plenty of comfortable seating and a floor to ceiling feature window offering a glimpse of the countryside. The modern kitchen is of the highest standard, housing all the appliances to cook your favourite meal, whilst the dining area provides a sociable space to enjoy your meal with a glass of wine. Check out the Balinese recipes provided and there are even the herbs and spices to help you enjoy some traditional cuisine during your holiday! The illuminated roof pent over this area adds to the ambience of the lodge. The Balinese theme continues in the en-suite bedroom with deep colours and luxurious soft furnishings, perfect for a couple looking for something a little bit special whilst exploring this delightful rural area. Outside, The Lotus has a private enclosed seating area for you to relax and take a refreshing drink or take a dip in the hot tub and star gaze; the night sky here is perfect to spot your favourite constellation.
The North Star Sanctum site is just a short drive from the beach and the coastal towns of Hornsea and Bridlington. Enjoy a little culture at the theatre in Hull or partake in some retail therapy. The beautiful Wolds town of Beverley hosts galleries and eateries, and a day at the races is not to be missed. This beautiful area of the East Riding provides some of the best bird watching opportunities at the rspb reserve at Bempton and Spurn Point. The rolling hills of the Wolds are on the doorstep and provide miles of footpaths to explore along with the popular Wolds towns of Driffield and Pocklington. A little further afield is the historic city of York. Beach 3 miles. Shop and pub 3 miles, restaurant 7 miles.
