"Had a great short break the surrounding area was lovely the cottage was spotless and well equipped we would definitely stay again."
"A quiet location positioned behind other houses in a quiet village.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a recently renovated cottage.Good sized rooms throughout excellent kitchen.Only down side no WIFI"
"A lovely little find and will definitely be telling our friends about it. Will visit again in the future."
"Beautiful home and great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there."
"Lovely cottage in a great location. Clean and tastefully furnished, it had everything that we needed for our thoroughly enjoyable long weekend break. If I had to pick up on one minor negative point, which I realise is a personal dislike, it would be the fact that there was carpet in the bathroom."
"A lovely, comfy cottage that was generously stocked with a welcome pack and other essentials."
    "Top class accommodation"
"The cottage provided a peaceful and relaxing place to be over Christmas. Our hosts were very helpful and had put a christmas tree in the lounge. The cottage is well equipped and the kichen/diner is a really nice room to sit in."
"This is a wonderful little cottage on the outskirts of Northallerton. It's location makes it a helpful distance from a number of points of interest. The cottage itself is beautifully laid out with a nice open fire place and my wife particularly enjoyed cooking on the Aga. It could do with a few more pots and pans and a DVD player as with a small child we had to stay in each night. That said we found the cottage perfect for a week of retreat."
"One of the nicest and cleanest cottages you could stay in. A welcome of eggs, milk and a bottle of wine to settle in with. Also, when the TV failed, the owner was with us in less than hour and replaced it with a Sony 32in. What helpful and pleasant service. The local pub serves great meals and the owner and chef can't be more welcoming. Surprisingly this cottage is well placed to visit the Dales, North York Moors, Coast and less than an hour to all. We will not hesitate to come back!"
"It was a beautiful cottage , very good on location.thoroughly enjoyed ourselves"
"Lovely cottage, very comfortable and close to all major attractions. We had a great holiday break and would recommend Stone Cottage without reservation."
