The cottage can sleep three people and has one double bedroom with TV, one single room and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside is roadside parking. Puddle Duck Cottage is a delightful cottage perfect for a romantic break or for a small family looking to explore this lovely part of North Yorkshire.

    The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

    Swainby is a village in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, England. Swainby is located at the north-western corner of the North York Moors National Park. The characteristics of the village and the surrounding area consist of traditional Yorkshire dry stone walls, hills, sheep, heather and moorland.The village is close to the ruins of Whorlton Castle.In the 19th century the housing of miners who worked the nearby hills for ironstone and jet led to an expansion of the village.Swainby contains two public houses, "The Blacksmiths Arms" and "The Black Horse", and a caravan park with farm house.
