This lodge is set in a quiet rural location, just 3.5 miles from Masham. The Scandinavian-style wooden lodge provides a perfect base to explore the many delights the Yorkshire Dales has on offer. Set across one floor, on entering you are met with the spacious and characterful living space, complete with open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with a door leading out to the decked veranda. Suitable for families, the two bedrooms include a double, and a twin room with en-suite facilities. The lodge is complete with a family shower room including a power shower, ideal and refreshing after a day exploring the local countryside. There is also a large, private and secluded decking area along the front and side of the property, with wooden furniture - a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Nearby, the amenities of Masham include the twice weekly market, the Theakston and Black Sheep brewery visitor centres and a choice of friendly pubs and restaurants. The popular market towns of Richmond, Leyburn and Hawes are all within easy reach, as are the breathtaking Jervaulx and Fountains Abbeys. Spend a day shopping in the beautiful town of Harrogate or visit the small cathedral city of Ripon, the country's oldest city. Further afield is the bustling, historic city of York where you can brave the climb to the top of the York Minster, or take a step back in time with a trip to the Jorvik Viking Centre. With so many things to do and places to visit, this self-catering lodge is the perfect base for couples exploring North Yorkshire, all year round.
The market town of Masham is situated in Wensleydale alongside the River Ure, offering crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants, pubs and two breweries. The popular towns of Ripon and Harrogate, as well as the city of York are within driving distance.

All that you would need for your stay . Lots of places to visit within minutes away. Enjoyed Christmas week with my friend Kate and her Spaniel Rhea . Only down side was no one thought to leave us any milk or tea bags for a drink while waiting for Tesco groceries.

The cabin was an absolute joy. Everything was lovely. The location is amazing, so quiet and surrounded by trees. We also enjoyed the wildlife that is all around. Just the break we needed. Thank you

Lovely quiet location and some fantastic places to visit nearby. Only one problem. We found the property quite dark. Even during the day. We had to have the lights on most of the time even though it was sunny outside. I hope we didn't run up too much of an electric bill. Maybe its because we're elderly and our eyesight isn't as good as it should be!! Three days were not enough though.
