Please be aware that guests will be liable for any damage caused to the lodge contents or structure during their stay and we reserve the right to charge individual guests for the cost of rectifying any damage. If such damage is discovered whilst they are in residence, it will be drawn to the guest’s attention but if discovered after the guest’s departure, then they will be contacted and asked to supply credit/debit card details to enable us to charge for the repair, cleaning, or replacement of damaged items.

Overall the standard of the accommodation is very good. A few minor niggles have prevented a 10 score - no wardrobe in the bedroom, some of the outside lights not working, and no roof over the hot tub. In these difficult times I appreciate that the lodges need to be thoroughly cleaned but as we were unable to check in until 5pm and had to be out of the accommodation by 9am it felt like the 5 day break was reduced to 3.5 days although this was not reflected in the cost - hence the lower rating for value for money.
