Capable of sleeping up to four, the lodge is a perfect base for young families or friends to enjoy both an exciting and relaxing holiday. Guests will feel right at home when entering the lodge, and can unwind after a busy day with a book on the comfy sofa, or alternatively their favourite television programme. A selection of games are provided and will generate more fun for the family. Why not even open the doors to a glorious summer’s night? Adjacent to the sitting area is the lodge’s open-plan kitchen diner, where more time can be spent as a family, with a dining table for four. A good night’s sleep can also be guaranteed in either of the double or twin bedrooms. The lodge’s theme of relaxation is further heightened with the presence of a hot tub situated at the rear of the property, perfect for summer evenings! Should they wish, guests can also enjoy good food in their tranquil surroundings on the outside seating area. Off-road parking is available for parking, while pets are welcome. The nearest pub, The Bulls Head is situated just one mile away and offers good food and a selection of real ales. While in the area, why not take a closer look at the market town of Malton? With its many interesting buildings, notable sites to visit include the Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. Hikers and cyclists are recommended and will find themselves spoilt for choice with the fantastic routes available in the Yorkshire Moors to the North and Yorkshire Wolds to the south. The popular tourist attraction of Flamingo Land is 6 miles away, a great day out for all the family, 6 miles in the opposite direction is the grand stately home and grounds Castle Howard, back drop to many TV programmes and regular entertainment including concerts, makes this historic building a fantastic place to visit. The historic city of York is located just 18 miles away, while the lovely coastal town of Scarborough is located 24 miles away. Malton has been the centre of Ryedale since Roman times. A weekly general market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers’ markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south. The coastline is just 24 miles away, whilst the city of York is an 18 mile journey.
