The generous open plan living area consists of a superbly decorated, well-equipped kitchen and a stylish yet cosy sitting area, with woodburning stove, perfect for relaxed evenings after a day exploring. Large bi-fold doors allow ample light into the property and open out onto an elegant decked area, with tasteful outdoor furniture, so you can sit with a drink and admire your surroundings. Both bedrooms are bright and airy with nautical artwork to match the fantastic coastal location and have en-suite shower rooms and TVs with DVD players. The twin room offers guests flexibility with zip and link beds, which can be a king size to suit your preference. Less than 5 minutes away is a popular pub, an Italian café and multiple indoor facilities including a heated pool, sauna, gym and steam room. Elsewhere on site, there are lakes, a wild flower meadow, picnic areas and outdoor pursuits to enjoy such as tennis, archery or kayaking. A short walk will bring you to the stunning Blue Flag beach, 5 miles of golden sands great for adults, kids and four-legged friends alike. Filey itself is a popular seaside destination, boasting two pretty promenades with a range of shops and cafes as well as a number of attractions to enjoy during your stay. For those that love the outdoors, take an exhilarating coastal walk along the Brigg, investigate rock pools or simply take in the fresh sea air whilst on the beach. Filey Bird Garden and Animal park, Bempton RSPB reserve and the majestic stately homes of Sledmere House or Burton Agnes Hall are all nearby promising brilliant local days out. Heading south, Bridlington offers great variety, including two golden beaches, historic buildings and The East Riding Leisure Centre. To the North is the well-known seaside resort of Scarborough; with its elevated castle, open air theatre, golf courses and stunning coastal walks. Whatever you decide, The Lobster Pot Beach House is a wonderful base for a seaside holiday all year round.

Filey is a seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday. Filey has been a resort since Victorian times, set beside Filey Bay, with Filey Brigg to the north. The town retains much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels. There is a small coblbe landing, a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus beach chalets that can be hired through the summer. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are gardens where bands play. Filey is family orientated, with donkey rides, play areas, crazy golf and candy floss! Flamborough Head is near and boasts high cliffs with walks, Bempton Cliffs are a haven for bird lovers. A short drive brings you to Scarborough where for family fun you can visit the Alpamare Waterpark, a waterpark unlike anything the UK has ever seen before, as well as plenty to explore and discover in this lovely area.
