Ben Rinnes Lodge sleeping up to 4 guests

This most attractive detached lodge offers stunning views of the surrounding scenery on the edge of the Glenlivet Estate. Cosy, tastefully furnished throughout and with the added benefit of a small sauna, which makes it ideal to return to after a day out in the hills and glens. An ideal base for relaxing and exploring this wonderful part of the Scottish Highlands, it is set in a stunning location, with panoramic views from the living area over the Ladder Hills and the Glenlivet Estate in the heart of the Whisky Trail. Wood panelled throughout it provides a wonderful get-away-from-it-all rural retreat, situated approximately half way between Aberdeen and Inverness, and on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park. The excellent sporting activities in and around the local area means guests are spoilt for choice; fishing on the River Spey and Avon, splendid walking from the doorstep, shooting, golfing, cycling or skiing at the Lecht or Cairngorm. A short distance away are many castles, houses and gardens open to the public, including Ballindalloch Castle, one of the most beautiful and romantic castles in Scotland. Visit Carrbridge, home to the famous Landmark Centre, where young and old can enjoy the various outdoor activities. For a dramatic change of scenery however, visit the beautiful Moray coastline with its fabulous beaches, an easy drive away. The lodge is located 500 metres up a maintained forest track, suitable for most saloon cars. Shop 8½ miles, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

"The lodge is in a beautiful setting surrounded woods so it's really peaceful, if you listen at night you can hear the stag call if you are outside the lodge. The lodge was lovely inside it had everything we needed, only thing I could recommend is maybe a few large tubs for recycling things like one for cans and one for cardboard just so it's not all sitting around and in the way till you go to the bins which are a little bit of a distance away. My son loved going in the sauna at night to relax. I would happily go here again as I would love to take my grandsons with me next time."
