Glandore 2.5 miles. This excellent holiday cottage has views out to sea and the Galley Head Lighthouse and is located just outside the harbour village of Glandore, on the south coast of Ireland in County Cork. Quiet and peaceful, this property will make for a fantastic getaway for those looking to escape the stresses of everyday life while still being within easy reach of all the action should it take your fancy. With two comfortable bedrooms on offer the main part of this property is the open plan living area with a kitchen and dining and sitting areas, great for keeping everyone close to hand and together at the table while a delicious meal is prepared. With the sun out, open up the patio doors and let the summers breeze run through the property while you step out enjoying a well-earned drink as you plan tomorrows activities while taking in the fantastic scenery. Just down the road you will find yourself in the quiet village of Glandore, a popular destination for Irish holidaymakers, with a small harbour and home to a selection of pubs where you can take in the local atmosphere, plus a restaurant should you wish to take the night off from cooking. After eating, go for a walk and take in some of the stunning local scenery; you will not be disappointed. You are only a half hour walk from the Drombeg stone circle and Coppingers Court or you could head towards Tralong Beach and Mill Cove. Just a ten minute drive away Rosscarbery Beach, also well worth a trip. Visit the thriving market town of Skibbereen further afield, with beautiful sandy beaches where you can relax and go for a stroll. Spend the day in Cork city, kiss the Blarney Stone, call in to Kinsale or go scuba diving in Baltimore for a unique experience. Do all that this fantastic part of Ireland has to offer or simply take it easy and enjoy the view from your patio! An excellent property, and a perfect location for whatever you choose to do so book now before its too late.
