The Folly is a lovely one bed holiday home next door to 4 bedroomed Ballinaclogh Cottage (I508). They sit at the end of the road on a small peninsula between the villages of Rosscarbery and Glandore for nearest shops and restaurants. Coastal style interiors offer excellent holiday accommodation for two guests with an open plan living space and a veranda with awesome sea views! The property can only be booked in conjunction with the neighbouring farmhouse and share the large gardens overlooking the craggy coastline. We can’t think of a better spot to relax and take in the stunning scenery.

Head to Skibbereen, 7 ½ miles away, this lively market town has everything you need for your holiday with an excellent choice of restaurants, pubs and shops and 18 hole golf course. It is an ideal base for touring West Cork, Mizen Head, Sheeps Head and Beara Peninsulas with an interesting and varied coastline of inlets, islands and beaches. Baltimore is a busy little port offering deep sea fishing trips, ferry trips to Sherkin Island and Cape Clear and with its large natural harbour and sailing school is popular with sailing enthusiasts.

This is a great base for exploring the beautiful coastline with its sandy beaches, tidal inlets and pretty seaside villages of Glandore, Union Hall, Castletownshend and Clonakilty. There’s so much to do and see, go dolphin and whale watching, deep sea fishing or play a round of golf at one of the 9 and 18-hole golf courses. With numerous cycling routes and horse riding nearby you can take to the saddle of choice and explore this stunning area.
