Carrigart is a traditional seaside resort located to the east of the area known as Sheephaven Bay. The village is home to a pleasant park, ideal for picnics in the warmer months. The village hosts two supermarkets, two bars, a café and a handful of other shops such as a butcher's and takeaways. The area is known for its spectacular countryside, which you can enjoy on horseback when visiting the horse riding centre, or perhaps take along your bikes, or simply stroll through the luscious scenery.
