Situated just outside Florence with spectacular views, Villa Tafera is a great base for guests that want to enjoy Florence and explore the many other cities and sites in Tuscany.
Dating back to the 15th century, this historical villa was recently restored and refurbished from top to bottom. Its hilltop position ensures grand views of Florence and the Tuscan countryside. The city centre is just a 10 minute drive away.
The villa is nestled on top of 5 acres of private land scattered with olive trees. Surrounding the house is a romantic, terraced garden with ponds, fountains, fragrant plants and vines.
Inside, guests will find elegant but cosy interiors with seven tastefully furnished bedrooms. There are plenty of comfortable corners for reading, relaxing and entertaining inside and outside. Whatever the weather, the indoor heated whirlpool is fantastic for all ages.
The more Tuscany is explored, the more extraordinary Tuscany appears. There is a lot to see and do. Most guests who stay at this property will start with Florence. Siena and Pisa are also close and are recommended for their beautiful architecture and amazing history.
The proximity to città di arte, cities of art, is also impressive: Arezzo, Cortona, San Gimignano and Lucca are all striking and within close distance.
