Villa Rebaldi is modern and minimalistic with 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 9 guests. It is situated in Javea, in an urbanization 3km from the centre. The glorious Playa del Arenal is 4km away and local restaurants just 5 minutes walk from the villa. The historic port town of Javea sits on the wonderful seafront in the shadow of the Montgo Mountain between Valencia and Alicante. The splendid Old Town has a fabulous Medieval church and many shops, cafes and restaurants along the atmospheric cobbled streets.
Most of the rooms at Villa Rebaldi are on the ground floor. On the left-wing, the villa boasts lovely open plan living. The spacious living and dining area has 2 comfortable corner sofas and a modern dining suite — two sets of doors open to the terrace and swimming pool. The modern kitchen is galley style with a small breakfast bar. On the right-wing of the ground floor, you will find the villa’s 4 bedrooms.
Two of the bedrooms have double beds and smart, pristine en-suite bathrooms. The remaining 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. One has 3 single beds and the other 2 single beds. Again, the rooms are minimalistic and smart. On the upper level, which is reached via a modern staircase from the living room, there is a relaxation area with a sofa and access to a lovely terrace offering wonderful mountain views.
The garden has a lovely swimming pool, surrounded by lush grassy banks, delightful planting around the garden borders, sun loungers and parasols and a covered alfresco dining area. The villa feels quite secluded as it is completely enclosed with hedges and bushes to preserve the privacy of guests. Javea is situated on the most easterly point of mainland Spain. Its rugged coastline is indented with secluded coves and sandy beaches. The Blue Flag, sandy Arenal beach is very popular with clear shallow water and pedalos to hire. La Grava is a pebbly beach loved by the locals and lined with tapas restaurants. The boardwalk, stretching 3km between the beaches, is lovely for an evening stroll. Arenal is Javea’s old town and where the buzzy nightlife is centred. There are many tapas and cocktail bars.
The live flamenco shows are very flamboyant. There are 3 nightclubs along the beach. From the lively marina, there are multiple sports activities, including sailing, diving and snorkelling. The excellent restaurants serve the freshest fish, brought in by Javea’s fishermen. You can watch the catches come in. Javea has a real Spanish feel with plenty of whitewashed houses. Javea’s Golf Club is close to the villa. It features a restaurant as well as the splendid greens.
Once upon a time, Guadalest was only accessible on donkey’s backs. Guadelest is a 40-minute drive away from Javea and is definitely worth the journey. It is situated on a mountain overlooking the valley of the river Guadalest, surrounded by the mountain chains of Sierra d’Aixorta, Sierra de Serella and Sierra de Aitana. The journey to Guadalest takes you along winding roads through pine forests, citrus groves and past almond trees. Guadalest is tiny but tourists love to see the reservoir and the picturesque town which is divided into El Arrabel, the old town and the quarter of the castle, San Jose.
The Montgo Natural Park rises 753 metres above sea level and boasts more than 650 species of vegetation, including the kermes oak, red lavender, maritime fennel, rockrose, the Valencia rock violet and black sabine. The fauna includes yellow-legged seagulls, Audouin seagulls, crows, ravens and birds of prey such as the partridge eagle and royal owls. There are many hiking routes in the park. The visitors' centre has exhibitions showing the ecosystems of the reserve. The Villa
