Private parking for 3 cars. . Robin’s Nest is situated on Great Farm, and it is the perfect spot to enjoy a family staycation. The camp is set in a private spot on the edge of a beautiful Cotswolds river meadow, and all the facilities are private. There is lots of space in the meadow for family fun and games. The camp is a wildlife spotters heaven, with the eponymous robins never too far away, and deer, foxes and badgers all close by. You may even glimpse one of the otters which live on the river.

The camp is made up of two beautifully restored shepherd’s huts. The first hut sleeps two adults on a super kingsize bed, with a children’s trundle bed underneath, whilst the second hut sleeps two adults on a double bed and has space for an additional child on a trundle bed. The camp has a covered kitchen area, plus a shower room and separate toilet. There is electricity at the camp, with plenty of sockets to charge your devices. There is also a fantastic wood-fired tub for the exclusive use of guests at Robin’s Nest Camp, which has the most fantastic position overlooking the beautiful meadow to the woods beyond. The owners provide crisp white bedding and fluffy towels, and the beds are made up ready for your arrival.

The camp kitchen contains all the cutlery, crockery, pans and cooking utensils that you will need during your stay. Robin’s Nest Camp has a 2-ring gas hob, a barbecue grill and an electric fridge. The food basics such as salt, oil, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits, plus washing up liquid, soap and shower gel, as well as a starter supply of logs and kindling are supplied for guests. If you don’t fancy cooking or shopping for food, the owners can take care of it for you. They can also supply breakfast hampers filled with lovely local produce or a delicious evening meal for you to reheat when you’re ready. Ask the owners for more information on your stay. There is always something to see at the farm no matter what time of year you visit, from wildlife to plane spotting. Robin’s Nest Camp is within walking distance to RAF Fairford and is a perfect location to stay for the Royal International Air Tattoo.
