Chestnut Barn is a luxurious three bedroom barn situated deep in the Notgrove Country Estate. Surrounded by stunning Cotswolds countryside and with excellent facilities nearby, this offers guests the chance to stay not only in one of the Cotswolds finest country locations but in enjoyable, high quality self catering accommodation. Downstairs is a spacious open plan living area with large, contemporary windows, modern kitchen (plus easy access bedroom) while upstairs are two more large bedrooms. The barn, which is part of a large barn renovation, has been built by local tradesmen using local materials together creating a large, cool building which is perfect for self catering. Internally the property is presented with a creative decor and charming textiles, with the large bathrooms especially attractive. With access to a games room and some cracking walks, (foodie pub across the field) you can do as little or as much as you like. Perfect! The cottage owners are able to offer a comprehensive range of additional services, from food prepared ready for your arrival, to cycle and tennis court hire.

Hazelnut Barn can also be booked along side Chestnut Barn to sleep 14 or you can booked Hazelnut/Chestnut and Cobnut Barn to sleep 22.

And the last option is you can have all 4 barns Cobnut, Chestnut, Hazlenut and Walnut which sleep a total of 32. Please ask Reservations for a price on these options.

The hamlet of Notgrove lies on the top of the Cotswolds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book, the Notgrove Estate is now a family farm of around 1500 acres. Set in some spectacular countryside it includes 400 acres of unspoilt pasture mostly in steep sided dry valleys, interspersed with mixed woodland copses. There are around 30 Cotswold stone cottages in the quiet and picturesque village, which is typical of the area. There are many, many miles of walks to be enjoyed across the estate, maps are provided in the cottages, which allow you to take in some of the most breathtaking views. Nearby is Bourton on the Water ("The Venice of the Cotswolds") which has a number of attractions and remains a popular place to visit when staying in the Cotswolds.
