A lovely, comfortable holiday retreat in peaceful Tansley village just a short walk from the pub.

Pear Tree is a lovely holiday retreat on the edge of peaceful Tansley village close to all of Derbyshire's visitor attractions. Set in the rolling countryside to the south of the old spa town of Matlock, a minute's walk from the cottage and you are out in the fields and woods on the hillside. One of our favorite walks is over the hill to Lumbsdale Valley with its numerous little waterfalls and old industrial revolution mills cascading down the leafy dale.  

You won’t be short for days out; the National Tramway Museum, the Heights of Abraham cable cars, the Great British Car Journey, Carsington Water, Bakewell's famous market or even majestic Chatsworth House are all nearby. 

Size: Sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms.

Beds: King size bedroom, double bedroom, single bedroom. 

Rooms: Ground floor: lounge, dining room, kitchen. First floor: three bedrooms, family bathroom with rain head shower over the bath. 

Kitchen & utilities: hob, oven, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. 

Entertainment: smart TV, WiFi

Outside: Enclosed rear garden (low wall, not guaranteed dog-proof!) with garden furniture, secure storage for bikes.   

Parking: Off road parking in front of the house.  

General: WiFi, linen and towels are provided. Central heating, fuel and power are included. 

Pets: Two dogs are welcome.
