Rosemary Cottage is a charming terraced cottage in a quiet little lane just a five minute level stroll from the centre of Wirksworth. Extremely well decorated and comfortably furnished, its traditional fireplaces and other features complement an attractive kitchen and super bathroom.

Wirksworth, dating back to the old leadmining days, is a lovely little town absolutely teaming with activity. Watch local life go by as you wander along the narrow alleyways between the higgledy-piggledy houses, browse around the traditional shops, colourful market and award winning heritage centre, or have a pint in one of the numerous pubs.

After a day out at nearby Matlock Bath, Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Carsington Water or the National Tramway Museum you might fancy a delicious meal in Le Mistral. Save a few minutes to call in for a drink at the Lime Kiln as you walk back to the cottage.

Cottage facilities:

A very attractive lounge with comfortable furniture, old marble fireplace with coal effect gas fire, T.V., DVD and Wi Fi. A pleasant dining room with wooden table and traditional cast iron fireplace. A lovely modern green and white kitchen with wooden units, Belfast sink, cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and automatic washer. A beautiful bedroom with zip together single beds. A bathroom with  Victorian-style bath, separate shower and W.C. A downstairs cloakroom with W.C.

Linen and towels are provided. Central heating, fuel and power are included. A cot and high chair can be requested. There is a small front garden and a sunny rear courtyard with furniture. Ample parking is available in the car park immediately to the rear. A small pet is allowed by arrangement. Smoking is not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult.

Weekly bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday but short breaks are available throughout the year excluding Xmas & New Year.
