The east coast can be reached in less than an hour with its sandy beaches. Skegness is 34 miles with traditional seaside entertainment, amusements and pier. Visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby or Burghley Horse Trials near Stamford. For the more energetic, there are good walks and cycle routes straight from the door as well as an 18 hole golf course nearby to enjoy.
