Bridge cottage is suitable for walkers, families and pet owners seeking a comfortable base, with walks from the door and the benefit of amenities close at hand. The cottage enjoys a delightful setting overlooking the village beck, lovely fell views from the bedrooms and a cosy open fire for chilly winter evenings. Braithwaite is the starting point for several great fell walks, including Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike or if you are feeling really fit/adventurous the Coledale Horseshoe takes in several fells in one walk.

The property adjacent to Bridge Cottage has had some extensive renovation works over the summer period. This has no direct effect on the cottage itself, and the owners are confident that works entailing any significant noise have been completed, but there may still be work ongoing inside and outside. The owners do not imagine that this will have any impact on the enjoyment of your stay, but would like you to know in advance.
