A detached cottage occupying a picture postcard position in the Lake District, between the southern end of Lake Coniston and Lake Windermere.. Ground Floor:

Living room: With wood burner and 42" Freesat Smart TV.
Kitchen/dining room: With wood burner, oil Aga, electric oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher and tiled floor.
Utility room: With fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Separate toilet.. First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With double bed, beams and en-suite with shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2: With kingsize bed and patio doors leading to balcony.
Bedroom 3: With double bed.
Bedroom 4: With twin beds.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included.. Large, enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Balcony. Bike store. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are sloping banks in the garden.. Dubber Beck is a fantastic, detached country cottage in the heart of the Southern Lake District, with a large private garden that makes it perfect for your family, friends and dogs to enjoy the country air. The main door opens directly into the main living area, mind your head as you walk in - this traditional cottage is full of beams! The large fireplace and wood burner take centre stage of this cosy room. There is a light open plan dining room and well equipped kitchen area, as well as a handy utility room, the perfect place to clean up the dogs after a long walk! The first floor offers four bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and there is a family bathroom. One of the bedrooms opens up onto your own private balcony and another small garden area.
Dubber Beck is a short drive from Grizedale Forest, where you can find plenty of walking and mountain bike trails suitable for all the family. A café and playground can also be found there. Why not visit the Rusland Valley, which is full of archaeological excavations, including Satterthwaite Bloomery, or explore the Greenwood Trails and Hay Bridge Nature Reserve?
This is the perfect place as a gateway into the lakes, so whether you are planning to enjoy walking a few of the 214 Wainwrights fells, cycling the fantastic roads around here or driving over to many other popular towns around Cumbria (including Ulverston, Ambleside, Coniston, Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere), then you are spoilt for choice! Beach 10 miles. Shop 3½ miles, pub and restaurant 350 yards.
