Staveley is the closest village to the property, a friendly place with independent cafes and two award winning pubs. A ten minute drive and you’ll find yourself on the shores of the largest lake in England – Lake Windermere. From here you can catch a traditional Lakeland 'Steamer' to Ambleside to explore all that this beautiful area has to offer.
