location for where we wanted to visit and explore was brilliant. Size of the property and the room splits ( 2 doubles and 1 twin room). great facilities like separate wash room: with washing machine , sink and freezer. ideally room after a walk to get changed and leave dog to dry off. lovely open plan living area upstair ( bedroom downstairs) with great views. well stocked kitchen with a good selection of pots and pans, microwave and dishwasher. lovely wood burning in the lounge area to relax in front off or to warm up after a chilly walk. off road parking for 2 cars lovely garden and pub style garden bench to enjoy the views and have food. Great walks directly from the house and easy to pick up the footpaths. especially up to the Cumbrian way and the Tarn only 2 miles from cottage. Great location for ‘wild swimming ‘ or open water swimming. highly recommend for a family or group of friends wanting to explore the area. exceptional communication with the owners too.
