The lively market here offers a variety of local produce and creates a vibrant atmosphere. If you’re in the mood for some excitement, Cartmel Racecourse, located 3.3 miles away, promises a thrilling day out. The surrounding area is perfect for walks and hikes through peaceful countryside. A short drive will take you to Fell Foot car park, 3.7 miles away, and Lake Windermere where you can enjoy a range of water sports or a scenic hike up to the impressive Stock Ghyll Force.
