Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet.  Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.  Highchair.  .  Front garden with (shared with other properties on-site).  Private parking for 2 cars.  No smoking.  Please note: The garden has river frontage and is accessed via a metal ladder. .  Methera Cottage is set in a courtyard shared with other properties that have been converted from a larger building.  As soon as you enter the cottage, you are welcomed into an open plan living space, which is the perfect social space to recall the day’s events as you enjoy your favourite tipple whilst someone prepares the evening meal.  The natural flow from the dining area leads to contemporary sofa where you can you rest after a busy day of fell walking.  Upstairs is a family bathroom for a quick freshen up or a long soak in the bath.  The accommodation is topped off with two lovely double bedrooms, one of which features zip and link beds, giving the flexibility of a double or twin beds. 

Across the road is a small metal gate that leads down some steps to a shared garden which overlooks River Brathay; this river flows into Lake Windermere and there is direct access to the water via a metal ladder.  This is the ideal spot to enjoy a warm summer’s day. 

The location of the cottage is perfect for walkers, with trails accessible from behind the cottage.  Ambleside is one of the most popular destinations in the Lakes and draws people to its wonderful selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. . .
