About this property
A beautiful cottage only a mile away from the bustling market town of Ambleside. The perfect cosy retreat for couples to explore the Lake District or relax and unwind.
Courtyard Hideaway is a fantastic cottage in Clappersgate, only a short walk along the river to Ambleside. Set over one level with only a few steps to the beautifully tiled wet room with walk-in shower.
The cottage has an open plan kitchen/living and bedroom area, with a cosy log burner it's a great space to sit and relax or even curl up in bed and watch the flicker of the fire illuminate the room.
There is access to a private shared riverside garden just across the road, where you can even launch your own canoes onto the river and directly get onto Lake Windermere.
Ambleside is only a short walk away with a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants and excellent public transport links for you to explore the Lake District National Park.
Overall Courtyard Hideaway is a perfect spot for you to enjoy a stay in The Lake District.
