Easedale Lodge in Windermere is highly praised for its ideal location, comfortable amenities, and serene environment. Guests have enjoyed the lodge's proximity to attractions and the privacy it offers. The hot tub is a favourite feature, and the lodge's layout and facilities cater well to families and those with accessibility needs. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns are noted, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment in the Lake District.
Most guests found the lodge to be clean and tidy upon arrival, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, there were instances of overlooked areas, such as under sofas and in kitchen appliances, which suggest room for improvement in thoroughness. No persistent issues were noted, indicating that cleanliness is generally well-maintained.
The lodge's location is consistently lauded for its tranquillity and convenience, with easy access to local attractions and the lake. The setting in a quiet cul-de-sac and the proximity to Windermere town centre are particularly appreciated, making it an ideal base for exploring the Lake District.
Guests report a high level of comfort, with the lodge providing a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The furnishings, including beds and seating, are generally praised for their comfort. Some feedback suggests that certain aspects, such as the size of quilts, could be improved for an even more comfortable experience.
The lodge is well-equipped with facilities that meet guests' needs, including a well-received hot tub. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as problematic bathroom doors, kitchen appliances, and occasional drainage smells. These issues, while not detracting significantly from the overall experience, indicate a need for attention to detail in maintenance.
